Sheila Shewry has been involved with the development of businesses throughout New Zealand since she began working with the Taranaki Business Development Board in the early 1990’s. She took over as manager of the Board until all the regional Development Boards were disbanded in the late 1990’s. She then moved to Venture Taranaki where she coordinated the project that reviewed the engineering and related industries throughout the Taranaki region and which led to the formation of one of the major Engineering clusters in the region.
Sheila moved to Taupo where she coordinated the development of businesses throughout that region before moving to Australia where she worked on a Commonwealth Government new apprenticeships scheme that placed young people in training within industry.
Sheila returned to New Zealand in 2004 and is currently based in Christchurch. |
